I am a very skilled volleyball player, and my parents invested a lot of money and time for my volleyball club experience, which included training, private lessons, showcases, and traveling to national tournaments. My junior year, I had no verbal commitments, and my senior year started off very stressful and I was about to make a decision to give up my dream of playing college ball and just be a student. I attended a Network College-Prep showcase where there was only one college coach in attendance and that coach was not interested in my skills set for their program. The owner of the showcase league is a former NCAA college coach who recognized my talent and encouraged me to join the showcase league and utilize the network system to connect with college programs that would be interested in my skills.
